WEBINAR: INTERNATIONAL DAY OF WOMEN AND GIRLS IN SCIENCE
The 11th of February is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. This day, established by the UN in 2011, with the aim of highlighting the important role of women in the production of scientific knowledge.
It is time to look at the great contributions of the various Mozambican women and girls towards science. To this end, the Manhiça Health Research Center (CISM) and partners organize a Webinar on the Zoom Platform, on the 10th of February, with the theme: Women and Girls in Science - Challenges and Opportunities.
We have the honor of participation of two young speakers who stood out in 2022 at national and international level in the field of biomedical research and engineering, as well as the presence of representatives of the National Research Fund (FNI), the Embassy of Spain/Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) and the Europe-Developing Countries Partnership for the Conduct of Clinical Trials (EDCTP), institutions that promote the participation of women in science through opportunities essentially aimed at training and research.
